IN THE ROLES OF ANNE GEMELLE

In 1979 Amalia was accepted is the Music Academy, majoring in singing in the class of Maestro Stefan Atanasov.

From 1990 -1994 Amalia leaves with her band to the Netherlands, where they play in over 65 different clubs before a huge audience that strongly influences Amalia’s singing style. The repertoire includes funk soul, blues and rock.

The bassist of the famous Dutch band „The Cats“ Arnold Muhren, accidentally heard Amalia at a club gig and wrote a song for her „-Angel’s land“, which she recorded in his studio near Amsterdam.

1994 Amalia returned to Bulgaria and participated in many projects, concerts and recordings.

In 1996 Kurt Hauenstein came to Bulgaria with Supermax, heard Amalia and a few months later invited her to participate in the album of Yaku „Total Emigration“.

In the song „Sexy Funky Player“ both Amalia and Chaka Khan are performing. A recording for „Supermax“ follows shortly after.

On November 8, 2003 in Germany Amalia sings for the first time with Robin Gibb.
A year later Amalia is part of the group of Robin Gibb, along Nikolo Kotzev – musical director and guitarist.

They tour in Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Arab world and release two live DVDs:
– 2004 with the Munich Philharmonic
– 2009 with the Orchestra Of The Danish National Radio

Amalia continued her studio work and recorded vocals for Molly Hatchet, Messiah’s Kiss, Lou Bega, and others.

From the 2003 Amalia is a member of the most – famous club formation „Dirty Purchase“, together with over 20 elite jazz and rock musicians in Bulgaria.
In 2015 „Dirty Purchase“ released their first album „Sweet sensation“, where Amalia submitted her own song „You never know“.
